Background: This is a painting of the sunset in Beaufort, SC as seen looking out from the backyard of my Mimi's home "Grandmother". It was originally painted for my Mom shortly after Mimi passed away. For me it brings back fond memories from my childhood, we would often go there to visit in the summer.
