Protector ~Battle Wounds depicts the aftermath of sacrifice. The battle has been won—but the cost remains.

The Faceless Warrior sits uneasily upon a mystical throne, illuminated by torchlight. Worn, wounded, and vulnerable, he receives aid from those he has sworn to protect.

Incense drifts through the chamber, dulling pain and sense alike, while powerful crystals hang overhead. Reflections of shimmering light dance across his scarred and bloodied body. Two healers kneel attentively at his feet. They tend to his injuries with careful precision and practiced hands.

He is their protector. A living symbol of survival in an unforgiving world.

The warrior's stare reaches beyond the light of the flames, into the consuming dark where he knows evil waits. He cannot remain. He must move on. A drifter burdened with a people’s hope, knowing peace will fade as surely as flame turns to ember.

His plight will not end here. He must be ready—when the next challenger rises from the ashes...
